City Art Photography is a unique form of word art with an urban twist.
Artist, Mindy Martinsen, shoots photographs of actual letters found within
various cities as well as "abstract" letters made up by things around town
that resemble letters, such as a palm tree for an I or a ferris wheel for an
O.  She then uses the letters to design word art, spelling out inspirational
words, names, city names, etc.  The end result is a very unique, fun, piece

"I know that other Jen's List members have already posted on how fantastic
and much-loved Maria Roca Daycare and Preschool is, and I have to jump in
and add that I LOVE LOVE it too!  Maria Roca, Teresa and Miriam are
absolutely the most wonderful women and run the most nurturing, educational
and fun daycare and preschool I have ever seen.  My son is 5 months old and
he's been with Maria now for about a month and a half and he could not be
happier (and neither could I).  Maria, Teresa and Miriam truly care for the
children and it shows - the children are always so happy and are learning
new things every single day.  I have witnessed so many wonderful things; it
would take me days to list them all.  Just a few examples, the kids enjoy
singing and dancing, making homemade play dough, painting/drawing/crafts,
reading, as well as outdoor playtime just to name a few.  Even though my son
is too young to really participate in the activities yet, he's always right
there in the center of it all - listening to the music, exploring the
outside, being cuddled and making new friends with the other children.
Because of Maria Roca's Daycare my son thinks that every child he sees is
one of his friends from her daycare (it's too cute)!  I can't express how
lucky I feel to have found such a wonderful place and my son is just
thriving with all the love, affection and such a great learning environment.
