Step into spring!  Join us for a private HIKE with a docent from the
Children's Nature Institute (CNI).  We'll be Nature Detectives and use our
five sense to learn about what, and who, lives in the forest.  Parents will
learn about ways to include environmental education in their family routine.
Hosted by Mommy Adventure Club, participants will go home with a "Preschool
In A Bag": everything you need for a special nature craft at home and a list
of suggested games, songs, recipes, and projects to continue the fun at
home. Recommended ages 2-5, siblings of all ages welcome. Saturday, March

BUNNY BREAKFAST FOR MALIBU MOPS
Malibu MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is putting on a Bunny Breakfast this
Saturday, March 28th from 10AM - 12noon.  Enjoy a pancake breakfast, egg
casseroles and fruit and then watch the kids meet the Easter Bunny and have
a blast making crafts and finding eggs on the lawn of a lovely home in
Malibu.  There's also a fabulous silent auction with donations from
Geoffrey's restaurant, Extreme Bootcamp, and several hair salons and day
spas. The Bunny Breakfast is at 30084 Harvester Rd. Malibu, CA 90265 and
geared for children ages 0 - 5. Tickets are $8 each or $25 for 4 (children
under 2 free). Proceeds go toward the cost of childcare at MOPS events.

Join Man of the Year candidate Gregory Rutchik for a children's arts
festival
Gamelon drummers, hip musical performances from school-based and Grammy
mominated musical performances, puppet shows, kid movement sessions and arts
and craft sessions will all take part in the festival to help raise money
for a cure for blood cancer. Additionally, there will be a fun photo booth,
ceramics for kids, a beading table, food and much more. Rutchik, Founder and
Owner of the arts and technology law group, is hosting this event as part of
a 9-week fundraising competition to boost charitable giving for The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society and make a difference in the lives of local patients and
their families including 2009 Boy & Girl of the Year, 6 year-old Tyler
Cordova and 10 year-old Kelly Delaney. Tyler and Kelly are both bravely
battling blood cancers. A 9:30 am pancake breakfast hosted by Santa Monica
Police Department and Boy Scout Troup 2 will kick off the event.

Michaelyn Straub Photography has two Portrait Parties coming up! Portrait
Parties are Informal Photo Sittings held at local parks where the sitting
fee is waived. Your only obligation is to make an appointment to view your
proofs the following week, and you pay only for the photos you choose.

These photos will be available in time for Mother's Day. The first event
