Play and Grow Smart-er Tips
Developmental Learning Tools for 5-year-olds, Part 2
•  Play becomes discovery and Kindergartener learns rapidly through play.
•  As control of muscles and attention span increases, he spends more time
on his tricycle and playing with simple construction sets and building toys.
•  He begins playing “Let’s pretend.”  
•  Not lying, but being creative, he tells wonderful and exciting tales
about things that adults know are not true.  Humor him!  
•  Build your “learning Library” by choosing developmental learning tools
designed to “grow” as children grow, that have features and developmental
skill elements appealing to different ages simultaneously all in one toy.
This way, Baby learns developmentally at 6 months old with an item, and at 3
years old, Toddler is ready for different features of the same toy.
Consider the following Developmental Learning Tools options:
•  CONSTRUCTION sets – take apart, put together, take apart, put together.
Whether it’s blocks that snap together, pieces that join to make runways for
zooming cars or marbles, child-sized electric screw drivers with an

chronic pain. Even her voice is soothing. She travels with her table to
homes and film sets all over LA, and her rates are reasonable.

Whitsett) Studio City, CA 91604. Sunan is incredible. She will even walk on
you if you want and you will feel brand new when you leave. All of the
therapists there are wonderful, but I think Sunan is the best. Really good
rates as well.
