New Enrichment Center at Dan The Man Superkids Gym Also Introduces Preschool Transition Programs For The Summer 
Kid fitness expert and gymnastics guru Daniel Levi, known throughout Los Angeles as the popular “Dan The Man,” has a new special program just for youngsters age 2 to 4. In the new Nursery Enrichment Center at his Superkids Gym, small groups of preschool-age kids gather for fun and movement two or three mornings a week under the guidance of an experienced preschool teacher. Recognizing that some parents just want to help their kids get ready for their first “school” experience in the fall, Dan The Man is also offering two distinct, three-week Nursery Transition Programs for young children going into preschool or kindergarten. Children can attend for two or three morning a week in either July or August. Parents are welcome! In the regular Enrichment Center Programs, as well as in the Transition groups, children have three fun-filled hours of structured activities that provide the predictability and security children need at this sensitive age. Dan The Man’s experienced teachers will teach kids a new shape, color, letter and number each week, while also allowing time for puzzles, blocks, story time, painting, music and free play. Children are taught to take turns, play cooperatively with others and share, helping to prepare them for the structure of preschool and beyond. Art Supply Drive To Help Haven Hills- Fun Service Project To Do With Your Child!
The Woodland Hills MOMS Club is working to supply the children and teens served by Haven Hills with needed art supplies.  Haven Hills has helped victims of domestic violence for over 30 years and is one of only two such shelters in the Valley.  Needed supplies include markers, paints (acrylic, tempera, water, all colors), craft sticks, canvases, paint sponges and brushes, beads and string for beading projects, artist stools, sharpie fine-tip markers, water colors, glitter glue, tissue paper, construction paper, stickers, glue and yarn.  All items are preferred new.
