Made Me Nuclear 
A collection of pop songs written and performed by cancer survivor, Charlie
Lustman. Half of his jaw was taken out due to a sarcoma and he has a
prosthetic that he wears. You would not even know it by looking at him. He
is a beautiful person and so appreciates the support.  His collection has
now been adapted for the stage as a theatrical journey departing every
Friday and Saturday evening at 8pm at The Santa Monica Playhouse 1211 4th

Jen's list member Lesley Brog has started her own rescue efforts to get
great dogs, great homes
Too many shelters kill very kind and gentle dogs everyday beacause there is
not enough room.  This is for all you dog lovers out there.  Lesley has been
in contact with a few different very reputable rescue organizations and here
is what is available today.  There were 9 Lab Mix 7 week old puppies found
on the side of the road in Carson.  A very kind man grabbed them and brought
them all to the vet.  They are healthy and adorable (pictures upon request).
There is also a Great Dane/Staffy mix named Sherman.  Sherman is black and
white and is only 5 months old.  He is going to be big and extremely
handsome!  There are 6 adorable Shephard mix puppies that were just rescued
off the streets.  They look about 7 or 8 weeks (you will melt from these
pictures)  Nayla is a 2 year old chocolate lab/pit mix who is quite a lady.
She is sweet, walks great on a leash, loves to swim and is totally house
trained.  She doesn"t even bark!  A word of caution, she is a little nervous
around small kids (runs away) so better suited for a family with teens.  And
last but not least is Astro, a bull terrior. Astro may be the sweetest dog
ever.  He has a huge white head and a huge heart.  Lesley's 4 year old
dragged him around the house on a leash and he just followed and kissed her.

Join SHINE! 
LA's Youth Theatre for their newest production "Once: The Brothers Grimm's
Greatest Hits" which tells the tale of Jacob and Willa Grimmson, who find
themselves lamenting the new life that has accompanied their father's second
marriage. "The new house, the new school,everything is awful!"  And let's
not even talk about Stephanie, the step-sister! The one thing that provides
solace? The gift of storytelling that their deceased mother passed on to
them. An evening of creativity and fun may be just what the Grimmson kids
need to start anew, make amends and ultimately pay homage to their mother.
Based on the tales of The Brothers Grimm, this evening of storytelling and
play put on by SHINE's Youth Ensemble (Ages 8-17) alongside professional
adult actors is appropriate for all ages. The play runs at the West

blue with grey carpet, but I'm not opposed to someone re-painting it any

a very private back yard with a pool.  I'm also happy to share my office, so
there's room for a desk and file cabinets, plus more storage/closet/drawer
space. Parking would be in the tree-shaded driveway for now, as a friend is
temporarily storing his car in my garage. When he no longer needs the space,
half the garage can be used for parking or storage.
