Southern California's premiere meal home delivery service has just launched Fresh Mommy. I am going to use it after the twins are born and I can't wait! It looks fantastic. It's the same gourmet, all natural food that Fresh Dining serves - only designed specifically for new moms. There is a customizable fitness plan to help you get down to your ideal weight even faster and even an easy upgrade so that your partner can have dinner and dessert as well... Check out their website at www.freshmommy.com or for more info or call 818-8479-1888. From what I have heard, seen and read, food is fabulous and the program really works!

Read and Get Rewards
Read a book to your child and then go to this site so the kids can answer the question about that book. There are over 7,000 books with questions about them. Each time you get an answer correct you earn points and you can redeem points for bookmarks, etc. You can also set a prize for redemption if you read x amount of books. Very cool simple program to test reading comprehension.

Stop Prop 98 Suspension Petition -- YOUR SIGNATURES ARE NEEDED
If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor or friend of a school-age child in the state of California, please go to the link below and fill out the petition to keep Proposition 98 in place. Proposition 98 guarantees minimum funding to our public schools. Governor Schwarzenegger has asked that Proposition 98 be suspended so that he can cut 4.8 billion dollars in education funding to our schools. California is currently ranked 46th in the nation in per-child education expenditures. The proposed cuts would move California into 50th place in the nation. The Governor's proposed cuts to education are unacceptable and he needs to be told to find another way to balance the huge deficit that our state currently faces. It should not be done at the expense of our children's futures.Thank you! Please keep this petition going.

Kerry Daveline Memorial Golf Tournament
Because of melanoma, Mia's twin daughters, Skylar and Kerry, never met their father(www.firstgiving.com/daveline). Last year Joe Pesci, Dennis Haysbert and many others joined the fight against melanoma at the 2007 Hack N’ Smack(www.hacknsmack.com), Kerry Daveline Memorial Celebrity Golf Tournament. The tournament received national news coverage in USA Today and Kerry's story was told on The Oprah Winfrey Show. This year’s event on Monday, April 21st at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana promises to be our most successful yet. The Hack N’ Smack benefits the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF). Every hour of every day, melanoma kills someone in the U.S. With over 53,000 new cases a year, it is in epidemic growth: The incidence of melanoma is increasing faster than any other cancer; Melanoma is the most common cancer in adults ages 20-30; Yet melanoma research receives less than 10% of the funding than other forms of cancer research from the federal government. You are invited to join the battle. Sponsorships and donations to this dynamic Silent and Live Auctions are also appreciated. Information and forms on the many ways to participate can be found at the tournament website. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 818-788-6800 or email daveline at earthlink.net.

Mo' Housework = Mo' Sex: Time to Get Your Broom On, Boys
Mar 7th 2008 - By Tom Radler
Dust off your mops, boys, get the Swiffer out of the closet, and turn off your Xbox. Guess what? If you do a couple of dishes, you might find yourself getting more action this spring. A new study finds that men who do more housework are being rewarded with more sex. The Council on Contemporary Families reports that men have dramatically increased their time caring for children over the past four decades, and as a result women's sexual desire has increased. "If a guy does housework, it looks to the woman like he really cares about her -- he's not treating her like a servant," Bay Area psychologist Joshua Coleman, who is affiliated with the Council on Contemporary Families, says. "And if a woman feels stressed out because the house is a mess and the guy's sitting on the couch while she's vacuuming, that's not going to put her in the mood."
