A personal noteFROM Kim Hamer:  As someone involved in education and a woman, I am often stymied by how we accept what is handed to us, without question. Take the Culture Crawl this Summer!
June 21st - September 1, 2008
The bugs are here!  This summer, discover creepy crawlers at LA's major cultural institutions with Culture Crawl LA, a free family program presented by the California Science Center, the Getty Center, Kidspace Museum, the Los Angeles Zoo, and the Natural History Museum to draw attention to each institution's bug-related exhibitions and collections.  When you visit one of the institutions this summer, pick up a free bug kit and punch card, along with a complimentary souvenir insect (don't worry - they're not real!) and then bring your punch card to the other four institutions over the summer to complete your bug kit collection.
