2 Cats to Good Home with all the Accoutrement
Preferably as a pair. Max (5 yrs) and Addie (4.5 yrs) are both wonderful house cats. Once they joined our family (at 6 mos and 3 mos), they never left our house. Both are extremely shy though. Perfect for the non-cat loving family members. Max is a large Maine Coon mix who is very active and lovable once he gets to know you. He loves playing ball and chase (he's very dog like). Addie is an extremely shy tortoise shell and all she really wants in her life is a quite place to hang out (a spot by a window is great, but a spot under the bed is usually greater) and to be with Max. Max is a big adopted brother to Addie and takes very good care of her. We have an active 8 mos old now and although Max doesn't mind the chase game with him, Addie is just not herself. If you are intersted, please contact Melanie at melbaird at melbatoast.com. For pictures - Max http://www.flickr.com/photos/73437286@N00/17359123/in/set-412734/ and Addie

The Baby Clubhouse!
Sandy Brainard offers RIE inspired Parent/Infant Classes Newborn-2years old. Developing your baby’s self-confidence and introducing social skills are just a couple of the goals at The Baby Clubhouse. Sandy has practiced and studied the tenets of the RIE approach and looks forward to sharing them with you! RIE was created by infant specialist, Magda Gerber, author of “Dear Parent; Caring for Infants with Respect”. RIE has often been described as preventative measures for future behavioral issues. For more information on RIE, please visit their website at www.rie.org, or attend one of the orientation meetings. To aid in this exhilarating and challenging journey, Sandy has created a nurturing and safe environment for parents and infants, (Yes Dad’s are welcome too!). Your child will be challenged to obtain their gross motor development skills in their own way and in their own time, building their self-esteem and confidence! Their instinctual curiosity will be nurtured by play objects that encourage their creativity. She will support their learning social skills while modeling respectful interactions with their “first friends”. This is often a time of relaxation and reflection as you “observe” your child. You will be surprised by their competence and awareness!
Some of the challenges they will explore are:
Sleeping
Crying
Self-soothing
Teething
Separation anxiety
Nursing
Potty training
Respectful caring; (bathing, changing diapers, dressing)….just to name a few.
To visit the new studio and learn more about classes, please sign up for a complementary orientation meeting; Thursday evenings, from 7-8pm, (parents only)

The insulated poly bags will blend in with the other lunch boxes on the playground, but help keep risky business at bay. Which gives you more time to bake gluten-free cupcakes. www.statkids.com
