Video's to remember any occasion
For Zachary's 1st birthday(my son, who is 5), we hired a videographer to video the party. I knew that meant "going all out", but he was my 1st child and it was the 1st grandchild's birthday in the family and I went a little crazy with the party planning! The video was professionally edited and I have to tell you, that to this day, he LOVES watching it, as do we. I still cry every time its on. It is just one of those memories that photos can not capture as well. The video will also mean so much to him when he is older and wants to reminisce. I still maintain that if that is the only thing I could have spent money on, I would have done it again in a heartbeat. I have since had the pleasure of meeting Janet Strauss, who is a mom herself and lives in the L.A. area. She has a Birthday or Party Package that consists of 2 hours of videography, plus using professional editing techniques and your original media (photographs, video and/or film) she will create a highly customized movie presentation with music on a DVD for $300.00. It is worth EVERY penny(and then some)! You will be amazed by her work. FYI - She normally charges $350.00, but for everyone on my list, she give a $50 discount. It is a great way for you to be present at the event and not have to worry about recording it. Janet comes from a professional editor's background, working with companies like HBO and Lifetime and she takes great care to insure that important moments are preserved for your family to relive later. Baby carrier 
Can be ordered from www.ergobaby.com. The only baby carrier that can go from front, to hip, to back for babies and toddlers-15lbs all the way to 40lbs. It is really comfortable (big padded straps) and was designed by a mom (based out of Hawaii). It's comparable in price to the other carriers and the baby sits like they would when you hold them on your hip, rather than put pressure on the crotch (like the Bjorn-style). This baby carrier also has attachments (it can add a backpack to the outside of the carrier and has a little front purse that attaches to the waist band)--great for day hikes, etc. They also include a DVD, which was really helpful. They come in great colors and guys like them too!

NANNY, HOUSEKEEPER and BABY NURSE LEADS:
DEPENDABLE NANNY ON THE WESTSIDE!!!!!!   $10-$12.00/hour depending on the age & size of your family.  I have to let our phenominal Nanny of over 3 years go because our son is older & we need someone part time who drives so I'm trying to find her a wonderful new family.  She is loving, caring, trustworthy, always on time, and just a truly good person. She is extremely hard working, reliable, sweet, and she is absolutely wonderful with our 3 yr. old son. She is kind & loving & has a blast with Max. Her pretend play is fantastic!!! She loves art, playdoe & foam is very creative in any art project with him by making various animals but most importantly Max loves her!!!!!.She cooks fresh food for him daily. She makes a great beef or chicken stew. She does heavy housekeeping: 5 loads of laundry a week and cleans our hardwood floors immaculately. She knows how to make our big picture windows shine crystal clear. She truly is a kind soul and an amazing person. The other great thing about her is that she is extremely flexible. Since my hours varied her schedule changed on a weekly basis but she was always able to make it work on time. She speaks some English. Understands more than she speaks & is going to ESL classes. She doesn't drive but knows the bus schedule backwards & is  still on time everyday . In over the 3 years that she has been with us, she has never been sick once and never been late. Dependable Dependable Dependable !!!! She is looking for work perferably on the Westside beginning February or so : West LA, Santa Monica,Venice, Beverly Hills    Monday - Friday, full time preferred, 40-45 hours a week but would work part-time for the right family. She has a family of 4 children whom she hasn't seen in 3 years (ages 5,11,13 and 16) back in Guatamala  that she is supporting so she needs the hours.
