An eclectic musical band for kids. Founded by David Brownstein, a popular children's performer and writer and producer of children programming with credits from Nickelodeon and Noggin, and Matt Riskam, a classically trained guitarist in jazz, blues and rock. The Groovy Fools will imbue your event with laughter, learning and of course dancing. They are also available for private parties and events. This year the theme is Marti Gras - the event will be held on March 1, 2008.
Looking for donations in all shapes and sizes. If you have your own business, please consider donating an item, a basket, or a gift certificate - If you are a crafter or designer, please consider donating a hand made item/s .. people really love the hand made stuff ... or a gift certificate. If you are a chef/baker/cook please consider donating a gift certificate or actual edibles. The school is a Title One school which basically means that they need funding.  They lack monies.  In order for Sumac to have P.E. teachers, Music teachers, Computer Lab, etc. they need to raise over $125,000.00 each year. Anything you can do will surely help out the school. Lori brockman's daughter's nursery school needs to locate a place for its classes.  They looking in the North Hollywood, Sherman oaks, Van Nuys area.
