I met with a girl who seemed really sweet but her English was not so good so I couldn't really interview her. Her name is Jasmine Cubas, (she drives) and her phone number is 818-941-1684. We were going to pay her $500/ week for 50 hours (10. an hour). She did have a great reference letter from Nov. '07 which I'll retypte below as it sounds like she would be a fantastic hire: Jasmine Cubas has worked as a nanny for me for two years. She's a lovely young woman who has handled the task of caring for two very active toddler boys, without difficulty. In fact, she clearly enjoys interacting with and caring for my sons, esablishing a routine in which they have thrived. In addition to taking them to the park fo rhours, bathing them and reparing daily meals (including dinner), she helps clean the house and run errands. Twenty-five years old, Jasmine is responsible, conscientious and a hard worker. Any family would be fortunate to have her as a caretaker. Since my children are now in pre-school, Jasmine is searching for other work, which I support. I would recommend her as a nanny without hestiation. Please feel free to call me t 818-887-3458 if you have further questions. Sincerely yours, Jeanmarie Murphy

AMERICAN GIRLS REVUE - American Girl Place
For those of you whose daughters are into American Girl, and even for those girls who are not into dolls, there is a local theater experience that is not to be missed, but is about to close. The American Girls Revue is a musical, written by Broadway playwrights, which is performed six-eight times every weekend at American Girl Place at The Grove. The show features eight young girls who are part of a contemporary AG club who welcome a new member to their group. They teach their new friend about all the historical American Girl characters, including Kaya, Felicity, Josephina, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha, Kit & Molly, through stories, songs and dances. It is a great, wholesome show, with excellent messages about teamwork, courage, bravery, honesty and friendship. It is NOT to be missed, BUT ... act quickly, the show is closing in Los Angeles on April 13th and will be closed in New York & Chicago after the summer. Tickets are $30 each and you can visit the Concierge on the first floor of the American Girl store to purchase them, or call 1-877-AGPLACE

LOS ANGELES POLICE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Today, more than ever before, our community is surviving cancer. For more than 40 years Children's Hospital Los Angeles has cared for
infants, children and adolescents with cancer and blood diseases. Since 1990, U.S. & World Report has named Children's Hospital Los Angeles one of the top pediatric facilities in the nation and its panel of board-certified pediatricians have ranked the hospital the best on the West Coast and which is located in our community. Children's Hospital Los Angeles has offered healing and hope to children, youth, and families. Please assist the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division (VTD) officers in supporting the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group by donating to the 2008 Holiday Party charity event.
Throughout the 2008 year Valley Traffic Division will work in conjunction with Valley Traffic Advisory Council (VTAC) and gather gifts to give
to the children and donations to support the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group. On November 2008 Valley Traffic Division will visit the Children's Hospital Los Angeles located at 4650 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and
deliver gifts to the children. The Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations will coordinate with local news crews and invite them to
capture this heartwarming event.
On December 6, 2008 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel, located at 7277 Valjean Avenue in Van Nuys, California, they will be celebrating the holidays
with our co-workers, family, and special guests. This year they are going to contact families in the community and within our organization that
have been affected by cancer and ask them to join in and support our fight against this disease. Representatives from the Children's
Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group will be in attendance of the 2008 Holiday Party and will accept the proceeds generated from this event.
By selecting these charities as the recipient of your thoughtful gift, you have given added assurance that assistance in time of acute need
remains available to Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support group. Please join in creating a brighter future for the children and their families in the Los Angeles area. Every gift, large or small, symbolizes a commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Your support helps Children's Hospital Los Angeles to provide funding for state of the art treatment, translate promising research from the laboratory bench to the bedsides of patients, and train the next generation of pediatricians. In addition, your support will enable the LAPD to provide the Law Enforcement community, sworn and civilian, active and retired, and their families with a place to start when diagnosed with cancer.
Valley Traffic Division is looking forward to welcoming you to the Los Angeles Police Department family. If you have any questions, please contact Officer Brian Kelly at (661) 803-8430 or email at Bkelly001 at ca.rr.com. This Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Valley Traffic Advisory Council are programs with unique 501c(3) tax exempt status. Tax documents will be available upon request. If a sponsor is currently a member of the Valley Traffic Advisory Council the donation to that organization will be applied to the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

Room Available for Rent
Mother of one year old child looking to rent a room in her Bel Air home starting March 15th..I am a single mother and a singer/songwriter. I have a lovely home just South of Mulholland blvd. at the corner of Beverly Glen and Angelo. I'm looking for a responsible, quiet, kind, creative person to rent a room in my home. I have one roommate already who is a booker for the Roxy. The rent is $900 a month including all utilities. There is ample, safe parking, laundry in the home, your own bathroom, a club house down the street with pool, jacuzzi, tennis, gym, playground. Across the street from the Glen Center (a hidden oasis of shops and restaurants including a starbucks, market and pharmacy). I'm looking for someone for March 15th because my central heating is on the brink and I need to have it repaired before anyone moves in. If you are need of immediate residence you could move in right away but it will be a tad cold. :-) I have a gorgeous view from the back yard of the Glen and the view is tremendous from the bedroom. Must have secured job and good references. It is month to month so no deposit. Contat suzie rose at suzierose3 at gmail.com.
