Mark your calendars - On February 23rd, award-winning puppet artist Hobey Ford will present his newest work, "Animalia," featuring Buraku, rod, marionettes and shadow puppetry at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Grand Hall.  The first show is at 10:00 am and repeated at 11:00 am. Breast Cancer Study by Dr. Love
Ashley Casano is the Clinical Research Specialist at the Dr Susan Love Research Foundation, a non-profit breast cancer research center. Dr. Love focuses on the preventive approach to breast cancer specifically by investigating the milk ducts (where all breast cancer starts); she does this by looking at healthy women. She believes that if we understand the healthy breast, we can begin to see what can go wrong. They are currently conducting a study & are recruiting for info the role of pregnancy plays on the risk of getting breast cancer. Statistically, the earlier you have your first child, the more protected you are from getting breast cancer. They are trying to understand why. They do this by looking at three groups of women: those that had their first child before 25, those that had their first child after 35, and those that have never given birth. They compare these women by doing a blood draw and a needle biopsy of the breast. It is a one-time, 45 minute visit to an office in Pacific Palisades and women are compensated $100 for their time and effort. Please pass this on to everyone you know. Expansion of the TriCoast Region with part time/work from home positions - The TriCoast (LifeScan, a Johnson & Johnson company) group currently focuses mainly on independent pharmacies and W8/DME accounts.  The expansion will allow deeper penetration into the retail and W8 business, but also broaden the focus to maximize pull-through opportunities in the Payer and Large Employer business segments, and Mail-Order business. Looking for high-performing people, interested in working part time and out of their homes. Casual Part-Time 
(1) TriCoast Manager, Payer -  Will lead a team of 4-5 reps calling on small Health Plans and Employer Groups that are currently not called on.

(1) TriCoast Retail Representative - Independent pharmacies and DME's will continue to be a priority,  but we will also begin calling on some large chain accounts (like CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, etc.) and potentially some District Pharmacy managers .
(1) TriCoast W8 Representative -  Focus on pulling through the DME Wholesale distributors and their DME business 
(2) TriCoast Consumer Account Specialists (CAS's) - These positions will cover diverse Rx and Mail Order  opportunities.  They will call on direct and indirect accounts, single pharmacy stores, small chains, online accounts, and pull-through the business of small mail order customers.
Full-Time 
(1) TriCoast Manager (full time) - The full time manager will be responsible for ~ 8 employees (4 W8 reps and 4 CAS's) and managing reps that pull through both the mainstream/RX wholesale business as well as the DME wholesale business.
