Pro Cheerleaders will add some PEP to your child's party. They come to you!!  Variety of themes include:  LAKERS, UCLA, USC, HS Musical, Cheer Mania, Hannah Montana. Children dress up, apply BLING Spirit Glitter Makeup, decorate megaphones, learn cheers and dances, perform, and participate in a photo shoot. Holly is in her 40's. In the past 2 weeks been diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer which is also her lymph nodes. She was told 3 months ago by her Dr. at Kaiser she had pnuemonia. They were wrong. A misread/unread xray has delayed her diagnosis. Holly is a succesful massage therapist, if she not working she is not able to pay her mortgage etc. Her resources are going quickly. She is one of us prior to out marriages and babies. She needs our help. A garage sale is being held with all profits going towards paying for a 2nd opinion and helping with her bills. Dance classes for children and families. We are looking for a warm, relaxed family who will treat her with kindness and respect.  She is available Monday, Tuesday and every other Friday and is looking for 8 hour days from 8:30-4:30 sometimes 5. Urgent help needed for hoarding situation in San Fernando Valley
Today, after receiving a call to help a San Fernando Valley woman feed her cats because she is ill, a Stray Cat Alliance volunteer arrived to find 41+ cats in life-threatening circumstances – filth, debris, feces and urine-soaked floors. When the volunteer got there, it was evident that the cats had NOT had food or water for several days and they were thirsty beyond belief and starving. In fact, one cat was found dead. Sadly, another died while receiving medical care, and several others needed immediate hospitalization. As it is impossible to sufficiently clean the home to make it a viable place for the cats to recover, SCA volunteers will be moving the remaining cats to a temporary location tomorrow. 
But that's just tomorrow. After that? At present, SCA has over 100 cats up for adoption, so 41+ additional cats in need of homes places an undue burden on our already tapped-out organization. Specifically, they need: Funds for medical costs, food and boarding. Volunteers to help feed and clean at these cats' new, temporary location. FOSTER AND PERMANENT HOMES. Donations of cat bedding, blankets, towels, carriers, cages,  litter boxes, litter, toys, people to transport, take photos, network the kitties to get homes. Ovarian Cancer Coalition and Dream Dinners Fundraiser on Feb. 9th

Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of the gynecological cancers. 1 in 55 women will get ovarian cancer.  Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Greater California is committed to raising awareness of ovarian cancer and its symptoms - symptoms so vague they\'re difficult to detect. OCC's goal is to educate the general public as well as the medical community of the signs and symptoms of this disease, and to support research to help find an early detection method and a successful treatment.

Seeking helper for first 2 weeks after baby is born (around mid-March):
Linda Rosenberg lives in Culver City and would like to find someone to help out 3-5 days/week for 2 weeks after my baby is born (due March 11). I'm not seeking a postpartum doula, and am mainly looking for assistance in other areas so I can focus on taking care of the baby and my toddler.  I’d like help primarily in the following areas:
- cooking (relatively simple, healthy options)
- washing dishes, doing laundry, basic straightening up
- some local errands like grocery shopping, going to Target (needs to drive)
- light assistance with baby care and/or tending to our toddler who'll be almost 3 (not mandatory)
