Spa Loft Review
I decided after my 2 weeks of craziness, that a facial was in order. I ventured off to the Spa Loft in Woodland Hills. The name is so apropos. It literally is the entire top floor of a very nice personal training studio. The parking is so easy & free! I entered in to a nice reception area and was promptly greeted by Allan, one of the owners. Then Debra came to greet me and escort me upstairs. At the top, there is a comfortable area to sit and relax with snacks and water. This is a great place to host a get together with your friends after hours. There are 5 rooms and even a place that you could set up food! What a fun way to spend an evening out with your friends! The ambiance was warm and inviting. There is a bathroom, shower & small changing room, equipped with robes and slip on thongs with lockers to put your belongings. The facial was divine and Debra was great. I left with a small sample bag of the products used on me, in which are also available for purchase should I want more. There was no pressure to buy and the overall experience was lovely! Parenting Place 
A mommy and me program with the added benefit of the senior residents of the Jewish home in Reseda. Classes are intimate, knowledgeable and enjoyable! Our groups begin at infancy and continue until children are approximately three years of age. The classes are divided by age, although it is possible to bring a sibling of a different age to a class. There is not an extra fee for a sibling or twin. Groups are one and a half to two hours long depending on age and classes meet on either Thursday or Friday. Some classes are in the morning and others are late
morning. During the classes children can discover various art experiences, story time and music.  There is a large outside play area connected to the classroom and children are free to explore inside and out at their leisure. Extensive water and sand play as well as unusual tactile opportunities are available. Discussion time for the parents with an experienced facilitator is included in the program. Trained staff includes one facilitator and two teachers with the class at all times. Hot breakfast or lunch is included for both the parent/parents and child. It is included in the tuition. Parenting Place is a year round program and closes on Jewish and some National holidays. Parents and grandparents are welcome to attend as well as any other family member. Parenting Place operates on a semester schedule and there is also a sliding scale and scholarship program available as well. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to visit us. The first class is complimentary and enrollment is available at any time. We would love to have you join our wonderful program and have your child experience the magic of Parenting Place!
