Sears-you can exchange clothing if your kid "wears it out" before they grow out of it.
Now whenever your child gets a hole in the knee, rather than tossing them or patching them - just exchange them. You have to exchange for the same model and same size. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/nb_10153_12608_NB_kid+vantage?adCell=A3
Terrific Videographer for your party/Awesome price too!
For my oldest sons 1st birthday (he is now 5 1/2), we hired a videographer to video the party. I knew that meant "going all out", but he was my 1st child and it was the 1st grandchild's birthday in the family and I went a little crazy with the party planning! The video was professionally captured and edited and I have to tell you, that to this day, my son LOVES watching it, as do we. I still cry every time its on. It is just one of those memories that photos cannot capture as well. The video will also mean so much to him when he is older and wants to reminisce. I still maintain that if getting that video made was the only thing I could have spent money on, I would have done it again in a heartbeat. I have since had the pleasure of meeting Janet Strauss(www.rememberthatmoment.com), who is a mom herself and lives in the L.A. area. She has a Birthday or Party Package that consists of 2 hours of videography, plus using professional editing techniques and your original media (photographs, video and/or film) she will create a highly customized movie presentation with music on a custom labeled DVD for $300.00. It is worth EVERY penny(and then some)! You will be amazed by her work. FYI - She normally charges $350.00, but for everyone on my list, she will give a $50 discount. It is a great way for you to be present at your own event and not have to worry about recording it. Janet comes from a professional editor's background, working with companies like HBO and Lifetime and she takes great care to insure that important moments are preserved for your family to relive later. She was at the twins 2nd birthday (I did not go all out on their 1st!). Here is a link, so that you can see what amazing work Janet does. The day we got this DVD, the kids LITERALLY watched it over 20 times! Click here and watch:
http://www.rememberthatmoment.com/levinson_bday_web.mov
On final note, she also offers additional services like archiving (where she organizes and makes copies of all of your pictures and videos.so get those boxes out of the garage!) and more importantly, PERSONAL DOCUMENTARIES which she does by creating the most wonderful custom DVD's of your families' experience; using video, voice over, pictures, sound clips, and music. You will want to view this DVD over and over. Great to share with the rest of your family too! Contact Janet Strauss or Jonathan Mills at rememberthatsales at gmail.com for further info! You will be so glad you did! I promise!!! Jen

School Budget Cuts
If your children, grandchildren or any children you know go to public schools, this DIRECTLY effects you! If your children go to private schools, as a taxpayer, this STILL effects you & I urge you to still participate, because you too live in our society & will be affected by how the children in our society are raised. Governor Schwarzenegger proposed a suspension of the minimum school funding guarantee, Prop 98. That funding currently constitutes more than 70 percent of total K-12 funding in the state. This equals a $4.8 billion cut to the California state's public schools. This will push California from the 46th position in the country of spending on our children (YES, 46th in spending!) TO LAST PLACE!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE EVERY OTHER STATE IN THE COUNTRY SPENDING MORE ON EDUCATION THAN CALIFORNIA!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, AS A TAXPAYER & A MEMBER OF OUR SOCIETY~ SIGN THE ON-LINE PETITION BELOW~ AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, FORWARD IT TO ALL WHO MAY BE AFFECTED BY THESE CUTS! Cutting our schools budgets by $4.8 BILLION dollars is just NOT acceptable! http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/48-billion-cut-to-california-state-public-schools
Shampowder
Jayne Polan, of Buttercream Cosmetics, has a great hair product called Shampowder, that refreshes hair between washings because there is not always time for a shower, but there is always time for Shampowder! The pigmented powder comes in two shades for dark and light hair and blends beautifully into an array of hair colors. Additionally, the all-in-one applicator delivers the perfect amount of product exactly where you want it. So, when you're unable to take the time to wash your hair, Shampowder will refresh, volumize and deodorize. To get more information about Shampowder visit www.buttercreamcosmetics.com . She created the product after her son was born and she found that her time was even more limited than before. She no longer has the hour it takes to dry her hair and needed to prolong the life of herblowouts. Shampowder is perfect for moms. When there's no time to spare to wash your hair ... Shampowder!
