Friends of ours are adopting a little girl from Taiwan. The dad, Jeff, wrote, sang and played the music to this song, that will soon be available on Itunes. I had to share it with everyone. It is soooooo incredible. Listen to the words & watch the video. We are all waiting for Lucy to come home! www.taiwanlucy.blogspot.com

Imperfect 10
About women's issues that tries to take a lighter, funnier look at. I'd love to get some of your traffic, but more importantly ... if your list goes primarily to moms, I'm looking for wedding stories. On my "For Your Eyes Only" page I am posting wedding stories of the offbeat nature. I'm looking for stories of a wedding that the bride adored but that was terribly inexpensive (preferably less than 9,000 ... which still sounds like a lot of money to me) and that didn't end in divorce or separation. ;) If any of your subscribers have a wedding tale that fits that description, I'd LOVE to have them submit it so I could post it with their permission. http://www.imperfect10.com:80/

Ok so I tried out the live-in that I was going to use but she was not right for me but that does not mean that she would not be great for someone else.. Her name is Lucy and she is from the Philippines she has a 13 and 7 year reference which I checked and they raved about her - she also was recommended to me by a hidden hills neighbor . Lucy speaks English is legal and drives and seeks a LIVE-IN position which as you know is hard to find . My take on her is that she is a real housekeeper/ house manager and not as experienced with small children as a nanny - that is just my opinion after only just meeting her.i believe she is seeking a salary of $650/ week - but most likely will negotiate that ... She is professional and was on time for the two days I tried out with her . If you are interested call her directly and see for yourself .... 818 731 0828 cell or home 818 765 0961. Thanks, hjten at sbcglobal.net

She only does evening baby sitting for me, but she has taken care of an Autistic girl, with asbergers for the last 6 years. The girl is now 14, and they do not need her. She has done after school pick up, homework, stuff with her on vacations, museums and all kinds of stuff, and she is looking for something similar. After school pick up, homework, play, dinner, shopping kind of thing. With kids that are around 5 and up. Her name is Suzi Kogen her number is 310-569-3319. I recommend her to anyone needing help with their kids, no question. Thanks, LisaSalesMiller at aol.com

My sister is an amazing nanny and truly loves being a nanny. She is looking for full time work right now, but would entertain part time offers too. She also does evening and weekend babysitting too. If you need someone who is responsible and will treat your children like their own, please email her at nannypaulette at yahoo.com. My sisters name is Paulette, she is 36 years old, a mother of two boys -ages 10 and 16. She is CPR/First Aid certified, and nanny certified throught the Red Cross. She has tons of experience since she was 15 years old, she has been babysitting or working as a nanny. She has experience with singletons, multiples, age ranges from newborn to teenagers, She has her own car and insurance. She is flexible to work with your schedule, and very easy to get along with. She lives in Tujunga/Sunland Area - so the valley is preferable (ideally Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Studio City type areas) but she will go as far hollywood/hancock park/los feliz area too. My sister is the only one of maybe three people I have ever trusted to leave my daughter with and I am extremly picky, family or nonfamily - that didnt matter to me. I being a former NICU nurse like things done my way and I could trust my sister to follow my directions and never worry when my daughter is with her. My daughter adores her and loves to stay with her, even on overnights now. So if this sounds like someone you would like to have working for you, email her, she would love to hear from you. She is hoping to find a long term position soon. She has worked for many members of the group part time and occasional babysitting too, so Im sure you can talk to them too. She has a resume and references she will provide you as well. thanks-Ronine ronineslilangels at sbcglobal.net

Nanny Available Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays starting mid May. Blanca has been my son's nanny since he was 5 months old, and she is one of the most amazing, caring, smart, and hard working people we know. She worked with us in Los Angeles, then moved with us to Chicago, and now is moving back with us to LA again! She will continue to work with us 2 days a week, but is free to work the other three days. She is wonderful, fun, and so nurturing with our child. She tirelessly plays with him, reads to him, sings with him, and teaches him Spanish! She cleans VERY thoroughly, she cooks delicious food, shops at the supermarket, would pick up/drop off kids from school, run errands, and travel for vacations.
